Art

The art department at TCHS welcomes you! With our campus goal to improve overall academic achievement of each student, we plan to help students receive a quality art experience that ensures meaningful learning. Students begin the visual arts program with Art 1- this course is an overall introduction to several types of work. This includes but not limited to: drawing, sculpture, painting, and design. From there, students may chose to study several mediums including Drawing/Painting, Ceramics/Sculpture and AP Drawing, AP 2D, AP 3D AND AP Art History. In advanced art, students have the choice to build a portfolio based on personal connections and have the option to test and receive college credit through the AP program.

In addition to courses, we also are proud to host the NAHS (National Art Honor Society.) NAHS brings students and the community together through volunteer work and projects.
